Soak 1 cup of lentil with skin in water for 1/2+ hour. Pressure cook for 3-4 whistle
Heat 2 tsp of olive oil, reduce flame to low, add 3 clove chopped garlic, 1-2 bay leaf (optional), 1/2 cup of celery ,1/2 cup of onion,1/2 cup of carrot. Sautee for 3 min on medium flame. Add 1 cup chickens//veg stock and increase flame. 1 Tbsp of Tomato paste and stir well. Add 1 Tbsp cumin powder,1 Tbsp paprika , 2 Tbsp oregano.1 tsp pepper powder. Add cooked lentil ..Adjust salt and water.
Cook for 10 more minutes on high flame. Finish with 1/2 lime, with lemon zest and serve hot with pita/garlic bread
